Sul rapporto tra amore, divino e femminile nella poetica di Zorrilla, Bécquer ed Espronceda
di Simone Vincenzo Confietto
This essay explores the interrelation between love, the divine, and the feminine in Spanish Romantic literature, focusing on three major authors: José Zorrilla, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, and José de Espronceda. Through a comparative reading and by drawing upon classical and theological paradigms, such as Plato’s Symposium and Christian agápē, this study investigates how Romanticism reshapes the metaphysical power of love and its implications on gender dynamics.
