This work is a translation, from Church Slavonic into Italian, of a text dating back to the fifteenth/seventeenth centuries. This text is about the miracles performed by the Vladimir Mother of God, an icon which is known for its healing and saving powers. The icon is said to help people in case of disease, death, war, and other catastrophic events. The translation is followed by a comment which aims at explaining some of our linguistic choices, concerning in particular Church Sla-vonic vocabulary.…
