This paper aims to conduct a comparative and contrastive analysis of three movies and examine their relationship with the Promethean mythologem. Additionally, I will investigate the interesting aspects emerging when the main characters of the films are analyzed and compared to the figure of Prometheus as envisaged, in particular, in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The movies chosen for this analysis are Oppenheimer (2023), The Current War (2017), and A.I. – Artificial Intelligence (2001).
