The following article analyzes Ridley Scott’s 2012 film Prometheus and explores aspects of the classical Promethean figure. Elements such as the plot, the background, and the characters themselves will be taken into consideration. The aim is to try to understand where the Promethean element precisely resides in this film, and how much it actually affected its production.
